Some of our projects!

“SHNET” project

SOCIAL LAB through educational programs aims to raise the awareness of citizens, with a focus on young people, about the social challenges they face every day in their lives. At the same time, we aim to contribute to the promotion of active participation of society to engage in raising civic awareness about fundamental human rights and freedoms as universal rights.

Considering the fact that student education transcends educational curricula, we have seen fit to use technology as a means of education.

SOCIAL LAB aims to create a space for discussion of mental health issues and sexual health of young people. As part of this, SOCIAL LAB is working on the UNICEF-funded “SHNET” project activities.

“SHNET” is an application for mobile phones that contains accurate and scientific information about sex education and sexuality.

The “SHNET” Project is financed by the UNICEF Kosovo Programme.

The “SHNET” projects aims the:

•   Promotion of quality education and inclusion of learning and critical thinking development through discussions with young people.

•  Promotion of inclusive education as well as raising awareness of sexual education.

•  Countering myths and incorrect information on sexual education.
